The 24-inch blade is made from stainless steel with a polished finish. The handle is wrapped in leather cord and topped with a round steel pommel decorated with the face on a menacing feline. Included with this gorgeous replica sword is a wooden scabbard with a buckled back strap.
PRECAUTIONS :
The only down side to high carbon steel is that it will rust if you do not take care of it. To prevent this, keep your knife as clean and dry as possible after use, and apply a light coating of oil periodically. For culinary knives, olive, vegetable, canola or sunflower oil is fine.
